CPS #93

It's been such a long time since I did a CPS Sketch! I need to find a balance with cards, scrap pages, hybrid, digital, and projects. That way it won't take me such a long time to get back into things. Here's this week's sketch. I'm really sorry about the quality of the photo. This photo is slightly improved but now the colours out slightly.

Supplies used were Red and Green Card from Stash, Backing papers from last years Traditional Chrismas Colossal Paper Pack by PaperMania. Silver Snowflake from Stash, Ribbon is Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain from Stampin' Up!, and of course Tilda coloured with Whispers and some Diamond Stickles.

DCM - White Christmas and.......

I haven't done a challenge for ages but this weeks Daring Card Makers challenge suited a card I made on Wednesday night down to a tee.

Jane set the challenge this week....we are dreaming of a WHITE (and splash of pink Christmas!) I would love you to design a card which includes white mostly (ie: snow, snowmen etc ) and also a little splash of pink somewhere on the card. :)

Supplies used were Stamin' Up! Ribbon and some from stash, Festive Baubles from Craft Work Cards, Silver Mirri board, and some Pink Cardstock.

An Award

I got this fabulous Award from Wendy. Thank you! I think the words to this are very true and there are truely some amazing and wonderful bloggers out there.

This blog invests and believes the PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.

I'll be back over the weekend to add my Nominees. I'm just a bit short on time at the moment.

1. Katie
2. Gina
3. Lorraine
4. Terri

Just thought I'd share a card with you. I was playing around with ribbons and this is what the outcome was. It wasn't at all what I was planning but that's crafting for you!

The Ribbons I used are all from Stamin' Up! Sorry I don't know the make of the stamp.

Just Saying Hello!

Hi Everyone, I'm such a bad blogger at the moment. I've done quite a few cards and things but it's just finding the time to do all the other stuff like taking photo's and cropping and posting and thinking of things to say. I keep saying that I'll do it tomorrow and then it just all adds up.

I had an extra suprise in my parcel from Julie, it was my Mojo! I had lost it for a while but somehow it found it's way back to me. I'd concentrated on Digital Scrapping for quite some time and I was starting to get worried that I'd totally lost my crafting mojo.

Any way nearly time to place our next Stampin' Up! order and I can't wait, but just like you Sonia I'm having huge problems deciding what to get.

I had a PIF off Jane (ages ago) and I've not had a chance to do my part yet. I'll be getting around to that really soon now. I've decided what I'm going to be doing so I want to get a head start on it. Once I'm finished and it's ready to mail straight out I'll do a post for it. So keep an eye open for that if your interested in the PIF (Pay It Forward).
