Arty Girlz Challenge #26

And this week's challenge is.... Doodling! "So gel pens at the ready ;) You could doodle a border, maybe some dots, doodle the whole creation or use a doodling stamp if you'd prefer....as always the choice is yours :)" Here's my Bright and Bold take on the challenge.

I Printed the Doodles onto the Yellow Backing Paper and then painted using Twinkling H2O's, which the photo doesn't quite show up, I then reworked the Doodles with a Black Sakura Gel Pen.

'

'Now I'm not usually a Yellow and Orange kind of person, but I found these stunning papers in Eugenia Bacon's Ecstatic Sunshine Kit and just had to do something with them. This Kit is available from Digital Scrapbook Pages. The Birthday Wishes doodle is from Kirstens Birthday Doodles kit and the flower and frame doodles are from the Gelato Kit both by Kirsten Peters McGrath and are available from Daisie Company.

Neice's Birthday Card

I went surfing the other day looking for inspiration for a Niece's card that I had to make. I found this tutorial on making a Carousel Notes Purse Book and just knew straight away that was the one! Click here to see the Tutorial, obviously mines not as good as Jan's but there you are. I must say I really enjoyed doing this project and will definitely be doing more.

Here is the Front of the Book and the Matching Box that I made, the Ribbon has a Velcro clasp so it doesn't need to be untied.

I used Eugenia Bacon's Floral Fling Kit for the Backing Papers and a Frame from her Ecstatic Sunshine Add-on Designer Sampler from Digital Scrapbook Pages. The Dragonfly is a stamp from Elusive Images Damask Squares Themeplate. The Doodle Frame is from Kirsten's Birthday Doodles kit available from Daisie Company.

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen!

Hi Everyone, I'm back! I've been really busy with Work for the last couple of Months and will still be busy till the End of April. I'll be posting and taking part in challenges again but not as often as I was.
What a great Challenge to kick off with. I love this colour combination, it's really super and I think that originally the rule applied to Darker shades of Blue and Green.
'

I used these really fab papers from Eugenia Bacon's "Spring Song" collection available from Digital Scrapbook Pages, added some Rik-Rak Ribbon and Buttons along with a Rub-on Sentiment. I also made a matching insert using the same font as the Rub-on.
